The annual Spring Into Nash Farm was a huge success. The event (like all Grapevine events) was so well run and had so many fun things for families to do. And it was just nice to get outside, relax, and enjoy the weather.
The longest line had to be the pony rides (pictured at the above right). This looked like a great time for kids. There were so many other things to do. Activities included:
- Hay rides
- Sack races
- Live music from a four piece band (the banjo was excellent)
- All kinds of farm animals to see and sometimes pet and sometimes milk (yes, they were milking goats here)
- Fresh churned ice cream (very good!)
- Blacksmith show
It was just an incredible event for families. There were kids and babies and strollers everywhere you looked. But it was not mass chaos like it looked like it might be. Everyone was relaxed. It looked like everyone was having fun and enjoying a day on the farm.
We will definitely be back next year!
