Grapevine voters sent a clear message to the City Council and to City Government that they are content with current leadership. In a hotly contested race for City Council Place 6, early results have 15 year incumbent Roy Stewart with roughly 51% of the unofficial vote. Kathleen Thompson ran a close second with sligtly over 41% of the vote. Deverick Jordan finished third with almost 7% of the 2,474 votes cast.
Voters passed the Crime Control and Prevention District vote with roughly 88% voting for the 1/2 cent sales tax renewal for 15 more years.

Reminder all results are unofficial at this point.
We made it out to Main Street Days last night. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. The Pizza Piazza area was a huge hit. It was easily the coolest area to hang out in. And it was a brilliant addition to the weekend event.
