On Heather Glenn Drive in Colleyville, there is a house with a light show set to music.  This thing rivals the light show set up at the Gazebo on Main Street in downtown Grapevine.  You can either listen to the music piping out of their front yard or tune your car radio to a station that a sign in the yard directs you to. Somehow they even find a way to project snowflake images onto the house. The picture on the right really does not do it justice.  This light show is definitely worth checking out in person.

There is another house nearby with a Christmas lighted runway from the yard and up the roof to the chimney for Santa to land.  The yard is also filled with blow-up airplanes and helicopters that Santa is riding in.

On Montclair Drive in Colleyville there are some really impressive decorations.   The photo on the right is of a huge tree that is lit up in red Christmas lights.  It is a really impressive display of lights.

And lastly, if you have not visited Southlake, Texas yet to check out the Town Square and its lights you should.  See the picture below for a sample.

The gingerbread house at Great Wolf Lodge is big enough to walk inside and even has a table for dining.  And the proceeds from anyone dining inside the house (it seats up to six people) benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

The house was made from:

* 750 Christmas cookies

* 600 pounds of gingerbread dough

* 100 pounds of chocolate

* 500 holly leaves

* 2,000 blue chocolate wafers

What: Parade of about a hundred lighted floats, holiday music, and marching bands

Thousands of people attend this wonderful holiday event each year. You will see classic cars, fire trucks, motorcycles and plenty of lighted floats as they parade down Main Street. You will also enjoy holiday music and local marching bands.

The weather looks like it will be pleasant on Thursday, but still chilly so you need to dress warmly. The high temperature expected on Thursday is 60 degrees and the low is 37 degrees.

This is a really fun, free event presented by the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce.
