On November 9th, 2013, the City of Grapevine will host its second annual Veterans Day Parade. Come out to Meadowmere Park at 10 am to celebrate and thank our Veterans. This is a very fun local event.
Here is the message from the city of Grapevine on the event:
The City of Grapevine is proud to host its second annual Veterans Day Parade on Saturday, November 9 from 10am-12pm at Meadowmere Park, 3000 Meadowmere Lane. Our Veterans Day event has been created to honor, support and thank all who have served and are currently serving in our military and to celebrate the tremendous sacrifices endured by these men and women to ensure America’s freedom.
Parade registration is now open at grapevineveteransparade.org. This free event invites service members, families, groups, car clubs and individuals to participate in our parade inside Meadowmere Park and partake in our festivities including bounce houses, hot dogs, s’mores, a junior angler fishing experience for the kids, kayaks, paddle boats, crafts, and the opportunity to thank a Soldier! Register to walk, march, or ride in the parade. We invite you to take this opportunity to thank a Soldier and to experience the strength of our community through this patriotic event.
