KRLD Restaurant Week is coming up soon. This is great way to check out some of DFW’s best restaurants at an affordable price and support a great cause.

The basics are that you pick restaurant from this list. Then make reservations during restaurant week which is between August 15th and 21st (some additional dates also available). Then you pay a fixed $35 per person for a three course meal part of which goes to charity (tax, tip, and drinks not included).

We did this last year at Kirby’s in Southlake and it was phenomenal. Kirby’s did it right. Their dinner options were from some of the best on their menu. You can read our full review by clicking right here.

There are four local restaurants participating:  Silver Fox and Ferrari’s in Grapevine and Kirby’s Steakhouse and Truluck’s in Southlake, Texas.  Right now, we are leaning toward giving Truluck’s a shot.

Update:  Mister G’s Steakhouse located in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in DFW airport is also participating.

Here’s a little more from the press release:

Reservation Day for KRLD Restaurant Week presented by Central Market officially kicks-off, Monday, July 18. The heat is on to book summer dining deals at over 125 regional hot spots opening up tables, and currently accepting reservations for this special giveback opportunity supporting the North Texas Food Bank and Lena Pope Home.  Dining Out is a Good Deed, Helping Families in Need beginning August 15-21 when consumers will turn out in support of what many now savor as a summer fundraising tradition.
