The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring is a 2001 epic, science fiction, adventure film winning 76 awards in 85 nominations, including four Oscars. Awards were received from national and international movie categories. The award winning film cast includes notables Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen and Orlando Bloom. It is the first film released in the Lord of the Rings saga.
Movie Critic, Alexander Cristie-Miller described the film as an incredible achievement. Trolkien’s (writer) vision carried through superbly by a breathtaking setting and stunning special effects, as well as by an enthralled cast. The writer’s task is dealt with a breathtaking success.
