If you’ve been keeping up around here, you know already that we are barbeque lovers here at GrapevineTxOnline. That means we are very excited about this weekends Colleyville Barbeque Cook-Off. We missed the event last year, but will not make the same mistake this year.
The event kicks off Friday, June 4th, at 5 pm with a free fish fry and live music from Texas Cartel.
Then on Saturday at noon, the barbeque cook-off begins. Cost is $5 for barbeque or $6 for barbeque and a drink. You can not beat a deal like that. All proceeds benefit the Special Olympics.
There will also be a kids barbeque contest for kids between 8 and 14 years old.
What a great opportunity to enjoy some great barbeque and support a great cause!
This all takes place at the Colleyville Center, 5201 Riverwalk Drive (behind Market Street).
