DFW Connector Project – West Side Of Main Street Bridge Demolition

Here’s the information from the DFW Connector Project website -

To allow for demolition of the west side of Main Street Bridge, the following closures will be in place. Please use Texan Trail or William D. Tate Avenue to access SH 114 April 7 through April 11.

• From 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM on April 7 and April 8, Main Street Bridge will be closed for lane restriping and placement of barrier wall and signage.
• From 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM on April 9, Main Street Bridge and westbound SH 114 near Main Street will be closed.
• From 8:00 PM to 9:00 AM on April 10, Main Street Bridge, eastbound SH 114 near Main Street and northbound SH 121 at the SH 114 interchange will be closed.

From 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM on April 11, the left lane of the eastbound SH 114 frontage road near Main Street will be closed.

The 114/121 area has pretty much been a nightmare the last week or so after 8 pm.  We advise avoiding the entire area after 8 pm especially this week with the demolishing of the bridge.

The sign on the highway said that the highway will be shut down one night this week, but unfortunately we could not find the same information on the DFW Connector website.
