Best Places To Watch The NCAA BasketBall Tournament In Grapevine

It is Tournament Time!  One of the best times of the year for any sporting fan.  The only problem is where should you watch the game?  We are here to help with a few ideas.

Hooters

You really can not beat Hooters for watching sports, eating wings, and having a great time.  And when you add the fact the guys from sports radio 1310 The Ticket will be at Hooters all day on Thursday and Friday you really have a spot to enjoy the games.  The two day event has been coined the “Hooky Palace” (as if you needed more reason to play hookey from work on one of the best four days of the year.)

Hooters is running a NCAA bracket contest with a bunch of prizes including a trip to Las Vegas for four.  Yes, we plan on entering that one.  So good luck winning!

For more information visit the event information page at The Ticket website.

Hooters is located at:
1711 Cross Roads Drive
Grapevine, TX , 76051
(just west of 121 & 114 intersection, north side of DFW airport )
Phone: 817-410-9464

Big Racks BBQ

ESPN Radio will be broadcasting from Big Racks BBQ on Thursday and Friday.  You can fill out your brackets with the Ben and Skin show from 11:00 am to 3 pm. Enjoy some great barbeque and enjoy the opening rounds of the NCAA tournament.

Where: 1720 State Highway 26
Grapevine, TX – 972-539-5511

You can win cool ESPN gear here each day.

More information here at the ESPN radio website.

Other Sports Bar Options

There are a bunch of other places to watch the games all weekend including Lazy Bones (our favorite sports bar), the Tap-In Bar and Grill, Flips Bar and Grill, the Tilted Kilt, and Bone Daddy’s.

  1. Watched the games at big racks today, sadly georetown lost!

  2. Seems to me they should merge the two top places and call it “Hooters (with Big Racks)”

just my two cents on the innerwebs

  3. Hi Commish,

No doubt that would be the #1 place to watch NCAA games.

Or they could schedule a summer softball or volleyball match. I’ll volunteer to umpire. My two cents.
