Mad Duck Adventure Sports – The Bicycle Boutique
Mad Duck Adventure Sports is more than just a cycling shop. It really is its own little cycling community. Located on Northwest Highway, just east of Downtown Grapevine, you will find all the bicycles and cycling gear you need. In addition, you can get information on cycling groups and all the routes and trails that are bike friendly in Grapevine.
Riders meet at the Mad Duck shop every Saturday and Sunday morning for group rides. The group rides can include anywhere from 15 to 70 riders. Saturday tends to be for more advanced riders. The Sunday ride, which is known as the Coffee Shop ride, is for riders of all skill levels. The great part is that the employees of Mad Duck are there to ride too. They can help with tips for beginning cyclists along the ride.
Mad Duck and the riding groups are also very involved in keeping the biking trails open, clean, and organized around Grapevine. They also actively support initiatives toward making Grapevine more bicycle friendly.
If you are new to cycling or are already into the sport, this is a great store to check out. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed. So take a few minutes to stop in and check out a cool bicycle shop with some great people working there. You may just find yourself out for a ride with these guys this weekend.

We would like to be your new source for cycling news and information for North Texas. The Mad Duck guys are always fun to ride with!
Sounds good. We are always looking for better information and you guys look to have a really good site.
Thanks!
Don’t go any where else for your bike They always put the customer first and go farther than another other shop would to meet the customer needs. I just got my 3rd bike from them and could not be happier.
Took my husband’s bike there for service because gears were slipping and bottom bracket rattling. Took bike back twice in 1 week after “repair” and they said they did not a the tools to work on his bottom bracket and told us his gears were fine. My husband has been a cyclist for over 15 years and he can tell if gears are not working properly. So $110 later ( spent at Mad Duck with no real repair), we took the bike to BICYCLES, INC. and they agreed to repair NO CHARGE and they also agreed that gears were still slipping and repaired bottom bracket.
Have spoken with other cyclists who tell me that the repair shop at Mad Duck is NOT WORTH IT! Go somewhere else for repair!
