Lone Star Christmas at the Gaylord Texan
The highlight of the Gaylord Texan’s fifth annual Lone Star Christmas event is sure to be the “ICE” attraction that boasts ice figures from the Dr. Seuss classic, How The Grinch Stole Christmas!
There will be plenty of photo opportunities in the elaborate scenes from the city of Who-ville carved from blocks of ice some of which weigh in at more than two tons.
Other attractions at the Gaylord include over 1.2 million holiday lights and 15,000 holiday ornaments. There is also a life size Gingerbread House and electric train displays. And the Lone Star Christmas would not be complete without a 50 foot Christmas tree.
If there is one thing that is certain, this event is going to be huge. Tickets for the ICE event on Monday through Thursday are $20 for adults, $10 for children under 4-12, and free for kids 3 and under. On Friday through Sunday, tickets prices will be $23 for adults, $12 for children 4 – 12.
