recently ranked their top 100 best places to live in the United States and Grapevine, TX was given the rank of #97 overall.  Their criteria was based on the following:
For this year’s list we focused on smaller places that offered the best combination of economic opportunity, good schools, safe streets, things to do and a real sense of community.

If you read the full write up on Grapevine everything it says is positive except for this one little line:
…though traffic can be a challenge…

And we at GrapevineTXOnline agree with them. That 114/121 interchange can be quite the challenge.

This is a great list they put out and being ranked #97 in the country is certainly an honor. Scanning through the list briefly though we noticed that both Mansfield (#83) and Keller (#50) are ranked higher which makes us question how accurate they are at ranking best places to live.

In our opinion, Grapevine should be in the top 10 places to live at least.  Maybe it is a good thing our hidden gem is hidden way down the list.
